I know this is a really crazy idea... but:

as a scenery proposal:

the Death Star Trench from Star Wars.

as a airplane proposal:

a) an X-wing
b) a TIE Fighter
c) a TIE Interceptor (Darth Vader).
d) The Millenium Falcon!

be the force be with you all.

I know, I know... but I was viewing this sunday afternoon Star Wars IV (a new hope) (that's the ORIGINAL Star Wars for as old fellas), and I got this crazy idea on hoy fun would be to fly an X-Wing throught that trench at full throttle... and while I was writing my latter note, I thought about how crazier would be to fly the Millenium Falcon in that trench!

sorry if is definetively Off Topic, but I couldn't just resist the temptation to provoke you folks with a great idea about new sceneries and planes.

regards,

Riccardo

Hi,

several X-Fighters together with a small extraterrestrian scenery exist for easyfly.

For APF it's more work to define the flight data
for these models.

Thanks for the info Rodeo,

but I own AFP, and I have no plans to buy easyfly just for what sounds like a crazy idea...

I bought AFP to improve my flying skills and to practice those manouvers I don't dare to try with my "real" airplanes. On that purpose, AFP serves me well (I'm positive I saved one glider last summer flying inverted because I practiced with AFP) and is worth every penny I spent into it, as I'm getting my money back in less crashes doing daring manouvers.

But, I insist, it is only a crazy idea... I prefer to "push" for more slopes and big scale gliders (DG1000, 5m and up, with engine...) who knows, maybe someday will have some spare time, and build the simulation for that purpose.

Hi,

Although I am not really a star wars fan, I like the idea.
But don't you think you 'll have to answer to lot of lawyers telling you about intellectual property / copyright etc.?

regards, Anton

Knowing Mr. George Lucas and Lucasfilm, you are probably right....

but, what happens with the image rights of all the airplanes we have here? I mean... look at your inventory... I'm sure you have a 747, a Harrier, the Corsair!!, DG-1000, Dimonas, pixels, zagis... etc etc etc ....

Nice Idea,
would add some more crazy combinations:
an X-Wing in MK-Land,a Tie-Fighter on the Carrier, millenium Falcon above Forrestlake , but somehow supercrazy: fly the deathstar trench aboard a WW-1 Fighter like an Se5or a Fokker Dr1

Although I'm an StarWars fan there would be only one thing interesting me: a big model of a imperial shuttle with VTOL capabillities (like the Harrier) and, of course, folding wings (like my Corsair).
Wouldn't that be a geat model? :D

Maybe one day, when I have time enough I'll build that....
