AFP FREEZES

PLEASE CAN ANY ONE HELP I AM RUNING WINDOWS XP ON MY COMP WITH PENIUM 4 2.8 GHZ PROCESSOR THE GRAPHICS CARD IS ATI RADEON 9550 128MB THIS RAN AFP FINE BUT COMPUTER ONLY 2 MONTH OLD AND GRAPHIC CARD PACKED INN SO ENGINEER CAME OUT REPLACED WITH ATI RADEON 9550 256 MB AFP SEEMS TO LOAD OK FINDS INTERFACE CABLE OK BUT WHEN I MOVE MOUSE CURSER OVER AFP SCREEN FREEZES COMP PLEASE HELP MANY THANKS

I also had my notebook freezing at random moments. Other people have/had similar experiences. Although the hardware is new, drivers are NOT... There is most likely a newer driver for the ATI Radeon available at ATI's website. ATI doesn't support my Radeon mobile, so I had to get the update elsewhere. For most people, so it seems, updating the driver solves the problem.

I played for about 2 weeks and then it began freezing, damn s***, a lot of money just down the drain. Why not make a sim that workes? I´m sad :-(

So i found the problem, i changed the usb cable to another plug, strange but funny.
