Does AFPD support the generic linux joystick interface?

I want to use a cheap Esky USB joystick with AFPD. I have the Ikarus USB cable attached to the computer, but without a radio. The "Controls" menu in AFPD shows an "Analog joystick #1" entry, but it is nonfunctional.

The linux jstest utility verifies that the Esky radio (and the Ikarus USB cable with a transmitter) is a gerenal joystick device.

Any ideas?

hi,

i got a similar problem. my radio (JR PCM 9XII) got some different layout of the pins - so the IPACS dongle does not recognize my radio.

i got some other usb cable - but afpd ignores it. well, it`s a configured system joystick - with an bus id lower then 4 ;)

please help, Nik
