I tried downloading some of the "member area" files...on a Mac. They are indeed .exe files (Stuffit won't open them) and they're not just a folder with files I can put with the other aircraft and sceneries for AFPD which would be the obvious and simple way to do things. I went to Parallels/WindowsXP and tried to open them; they require a working version of AFP to open (which I don't have for XP).
How do I get simply the aircraft and scenery files and why not just put them out there in that form in first place?
Thanks for any help
Hello...
Has anybody got the correct transmitter settings for a Futaba 12FG to use with Mac version AFPD? I have the software loaded on a new iMac OS X version 10.6.7. I have the right leads,
the latest patch, but still unable to get it working. The software has uploaded just fine but the transmitter is not being recognised by the software. It acknowledges the USB cable, but that's as far as it goes. I understand others to have had difficulty with this set-up. Has anyone managed to arrive at the definitive course of action, and settings that would get this working. It has been suggested that I may have a faulty dongle - how can I test this? Thanks.

Hello!
I bought an Aerofly Professional Deluxe for Mac recently. I like it very much, but I have a couple of questions:
1. An 53" Extra 330-s from AddOn 5 does´t work at all. When I choose that plane, there is nothing on the screen. What should I do?
2. How can I download medium size (42" to 50") electric 3 D planes for my Mac version of the Aerofly Pro Deluxe?
I have an electric 3D Hobbyshop Extra 300 SHP and I´d like to use a similar plane on the sim also. I have that downloaded on my ****** XTR sim, but I´d like to have same kind of plane(s) on Aerofly also. (I don´t use ****** anymore...)
All the 3D planes on Aerofly are very big and not electric or small indoor foamies.

I am new to this but found some answers here. Maybe you already now know these from other parts of this forum: If you get Stuffit expander, which is free, then drag the .exe file onto it, the .exe file will be converted and there should be two new folders for airplane and sound. Then you can move the contents of the airplane folder (which should be the name of the airplane) into the real (main) airplane folder for AFPD and the sound file (if the .wav file is not a duplicate of course) to the sound folder. If things go well, that's all there is to it and next time you open AFPD the new plane should be one of your choices. I found a few that haven't worked and I don't know why, but I suspect they are really for AF5.X and I'm just too new to know what/how/if they can be converted. Hope that helps even if it is months later (I got mine for Christmas 2011).
