    Dear AeroFly Users,

we are happy to announce that AeroFly Professional Deluxe is finally available on Apple computers with Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6. • 13 3D sceneries

AeroFly Professional Deluxe for Mac OS X is available either as a full version or as a Crossgrade for existing AeroFly users. Details and pricing are available on the IKARUS website. The system requirements are as follows:

    • Mac OS X Leopard ( 10.5 or 10.6 )

Is there any chance the simulator can run under Tiger 10.4.11, or is it definitely linked against Leopard?

My boss has long awaited AFPD and now still uses Tiger on his MBP.

    Hello,

no, this is unfortunatly not possible due to a technical reason:

Only Mac OS X 10.5 features certain functions that allows us to properly communicate with the USB Interface or USB GameCommander. Prior to 10.5 these functions do not exist and therefore it is impossible to use our USB connectors.

    Default Free Models

Got Aerofly for Mac, and the adaptor for my DX6i...it is all working, finally!

I just downloaded a model from ipacs-sim.com but it is an .exe file which is PC only.

Can I extract the model data from the .exe somehow so it will work on the mac version?

    Cheers!

    Hello,

if you are "lucky", you may be able to open the EXE file of the model using a program like StuffIt Expander. You then have to manually copy the files to the aircraft directory. But again it depends how the EXE was created. It works with most models we tested.

    Default Ikarus for Mac

    Dear T. Hans

I.ve just been advised that the Mac version will not be available in UK until late November 09!
Is this true and does this indicate a problem?
    Regards

    Hello Rick,

the Mac Version should be in stock and ready for shipment. So I am not sure where you got this information from. Please check with IKARUS directly and see what they say. Here is the contact adress:

Default AFPD for Mac on Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6)?

    Hello,

in the forum I couldn't find any indication on the compatibility of AFPD for Mac with the new version of Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard).

Is the currently available version of AFPD for Mac compatible with Snow Leopard?

If not, is there a planned release date for a compatible version of AFPD?

Default AFPD for Mac on Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6)?

    Hi Cord,

    thanks for the info.

I am wondering why there is no official note on this compatibility issue.
