    Default Control problem settings......

OK, this is my problem. I have a few planes that need to have different settings. I went into the "Control" section, clicked on the "New" link, and at the bottom-left I gave a name for plane 1. I then clicked on "Advanced" and setup different "functions." The very FIRST time that I did this, I found that ALL of the "Channels" on the right were "not assigned." I saved and existed this section and tried flying the plane. Worked well. I then wanted to create a NEW configuration for another plane. No matter which way I attempted to create a new plane configuration, when I click on "Advanced," what I get is the configuration for that first plane I set up. If I change that name, after I've exited, I find that the first plane config I set up is now no longer there. Also, I do not know how to change an "assigned channel" to one being "not assigned." I've tried this "Control" section any number of ways to be able to get new configurations for each plane that needs one. So, how does one do this? I've read the documentation that comes with this simulator and it does not answer my questions being posed here. Thanks!

Either this is a specific Linux-Version Problem, or you do not have the latest version.
With Win I can not reproduce this problem.
    Kind regards Jürgen

Whoops! I am using Mac but not Linux. Which section should I be in for AFPD? The version I'm on is: 01.11.07.25. Just got it a week or so ago.

Even though I just purchased this product a week ago, I'm thinking its not the latest version and that's why I'm having difficulties with the "expert control section." I say that because when I checked to see what that patch does, yes, it fixes that section. But, when I downloaded and attempted to open it, it crashed! Several tries did the same thing. Suggestions?
